A really busy term for us in Cobalt as we start to get organised for our fashion show and become photographers alongside. We work very hard and try to squeeze in as much fun as possible!
Parkour running
I like it because I like the feel of running, rolling, climbing and jumping. It was dramatic to be chasing each other over and under the apparatus to the theme tune of Mission Impossible. (Izzy)
RE- Is God holy or loving?
It was good to be creative in our RE. We chose a parable from the Bible to represent whether God was holy or loving. My group chose the Sower. We used the key word of ‘flourishing’ and broke our artwork up into sections to show the different elements of this story- rocky ground/ good soil / thorns and the pathway. We were very pleased with the final effect. (Isla)
Pinhole Camera
We have made our pinhole camera- it looks a bit like a top hat! We have tested it already, but we weren’t successful. We are now going to have to use black tape to ensure light doesn’t go through at all. It is very cool in our dark room. We took our first photo using a big dustbin- it is really cool.

Maths
We have been learning about ratio and even did some maths linked to the Winter Olympics. I can tell my maths is improving (Alice H)
English
We have just finished our last English unit from a book called Varmints. It was a book about keeping the eco system safe and looking after our planet. Our class read is a book called Kick- about a boy living in Indonesia who works in a clothing factory who dreams about being a footballer and playing at the Bernabeu. I have really enjoyed both of these stories! (Alyd)
