This term in art, we have been focusing on the artist Chris Offili, who you may know from the famous piece of art ‘No Woman, No Cry’. For our final piece, we are doing a watercolour background, drawing our chosen celebrity, and sticking them on top. Chris Offili is known for doing collages within his artwork, so we’ll be including that element too. Ava
English:
In English, we are reading a book called ‘Varmints’ and for each bit of the story, we are writing a paragraph about it. In the end, we creating our own version of the story with Marty in his new paradise. Ava
PE:
This term in Physical Education (indoor) we have been learning about parkour. So far, we have done rolls, vaults, benches, jumps and even made our own parkour course. Jack
Science:
In science, we have been learning about light and how it travels. We also made our own periscopes out of just cardboard, Sellotape and a few mirrors. Only! And we are also making pinhole cameras! How fun is that!
