In computing, we created tessellating patterns. I enjoyed making the designs and picking the colours. I liked all of it. It was a fun lesson, and it wasn’t that hard to figure out how to do it. IT gave us good ideas for our backgrounds in Art.

This term we have been focusing on pin hole cameras in science, and it was fun to do. Everyone’s turned out amazing; everyone had a job to do in their group to make it successful. It was strange to see everything shown upside down.

On world book day we made our own books based on the day the crayons quit, we called it the day the clothes quit. It was about our clothes being forgotten and left behind. We wrote about clothes like tops, t-shirts, jeans, socks, shoes and jumpers. We really enjoyed the day writing about the clothes and making the book – it was really fun!

In Science we were tasked with a shadow’s investigation. We learnt when we put the torch closer to the object, the shadow became bigger and when the torch was far away from the object, the shadow was smaller. We tried this task with different objects to see if it followed the same rule. It was really fun to be in the dark!

This term we have made pin hole cameras, we had to go through a few steps to make it dark. We had to get black paper and two sided tape so we could make it pitch black. You had to put all straight bits on so it fits perfectly. It was really fun. We worked in groups of four. Afterwards we were allowed to decorate it, with coloured paper and card.
