Cyan have had a busy time in the run up to half term.
We spent a lovely morning out on the field investigating bugs, plants, listening for sounds, recognising trees and being very excited about finding worms and slugs! This was linked to our living things and habitats topic for this term and the outside experience really brought our learning to life.
In our geography topic we have been investigating Climate Change and the children used data to create a large graph made out of lolly sticks. This showed the children on a visual scale the huge increase in our global temperatures over the last 60 years. This then created some great discussion about the causes of climate change and what we can do to help our planet. Since then we have investigated the effects of sea ice melting using ice.
Year 3 and 4 are already deep into practising for their production, with dances a plenty and songs and lines to learn! We can’t wait to show you our work in 4 weeks time
