Lunchtime craft club

Over the year in Craft Club we’ve been working on many skills that are fun to do and can release the stress of school.

Origami

We did that at the very start  of the year; some of us were good and others needed a lot of help but we got through it, and made pretty amazing things with a piece of paper! Although it was hard it was a great feeling when you finished it.

Crochet

Crochet is a type of needle craft. It was very hard but when you got the hang of it, it was

satisfying.

Bracelets

We’ve done lots of bracelet-making over this year;  we’ve done friendship bracelets and beaded braces.

Friendship bracelets : there are many different types of friendship bracelets. This can also include weaving and knotting.

Beaded bracelets : this is where you thread beads onto a piece of string and then tie the ends together round your hand.

Cross stich

Cross stitch involves stitching things in a specific way so it resembles a cross. Then you put them in a specific order to create a pattern.

Our Gallery

We did many other things as well.

So to display all of our artwork that we’ve done over the year we set up a gallery. We invited lots of teachers to come and have a look around but the wet-play bell rang so loads of children got to look around, too .

Luckily nothing got destroyed- so all was well.
