Art in Y3/4
In the autumn term, Y3/4 studied the work of Jan Pienkowski who is most famous for illustrating the wonderful Meg and Mog books. We also looked at some of his other amazing works for the books The River of Stories, A Necklace of Raindrops and The Fairy Tales. We then spent the rest of the unit developing our drawing skills, working on getting the exact shape/outline of a variety of things including fairy tale creatures, animals, famous landmarks and everyday objects. We were allowed to choose what we wanted for our final piece and worked hard to make it as clear as possible. We are really proud of our work.
