Nursery enjoyed learning all about Chinese New Year before Half Term. We talked about the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac and recreated the race across the river. We looked at an atlas and the globe to see where China is and looked at pictures of the Great Wall of China. We learnt about some Chinese customs and food and saw some video clips of how children celebrate the New Year. We then had lots of fun making our very own dragon which we used to do some dragon dancing in the Hall.
