Busy time in Reception.
We have been working hard and having lots of fun in Reception. In outdoor learning we have been making ivy crowns, wassailing and blessing the apple tree. In PE we have started using the large apparatus in the hall, jumping, climbing, balancing and rolling. Our story this term is The Everywhere Bear by Julia Donaldson. We have been wondering and adventuring with the bear. He has been going home with each child for a sleepover and getting up to all sorts of mischief. Everywhere Bear visits the library in the story so we went to our school library and chose our favourite books to take home and share with our grown ups. We hope to visit Minch library very soon. Colour Monster has been helping us to recognise our emotions in ourselves and others and to help us to self regulate.
