We basically did a human timeline on the field with a very, very long tape measure. One end was now and one end was the past. We put people at different points in history that we’ve learned in school. I was Howard Carter (the man who found Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922 CE). Other things were World War 2 (1939 CE), the birth of Jesus (0) and our new history topic: the neolithic Stone Age and Bronze Age. It was fun and helpful. The Stone Age and Bronze Age were a loooooooong time ago.
