Although we only had three days in class this week, we managed to fill them up with lots of exciting activities. Along with Maths and starting our new unit ‘Anna Hibiscus Song’ in Literacy, we had fun doing some artwork. We all painted beautiful pictures of our Mummy’s ready for Mother’s Day this weekend. We also drew pictures of Ms Gittins surrounded by flowers and stuck them into a goodbye book for her. We gave her the book, sang her a song and then had a little party in the classroom – the disco ball did come out! Another exciting adventure we had was to the pond! We saw frogspawn on the top but sadly the frogs did not come out to say hello. We learned that when they have grown their legs but still have their tails, they are called ‘froglets’! What a busy few days we had!
