In Midnight, Teal and Aqua Classes we have been painting our families and telling family stories. The children have shared their stories with one another. We have also been talking about “being special”. The children enjoyed using mirrors to look at themselves. We had a good discussion exploring how we are special.
Midnight Class have been practising their cutting skills. They have persevered and the results are fabulous. The Reception children cut out socks to stick in their books and the Year 1 children have been cutting out the people they have drawn.
Since half term the children have enjoyed visiting the snack table to have their milk or water and crackers and fruit in the mornings. There is room for eight children at a time. This is a time for quiet discussion and an opportunity for the children to practise turn taking, table manners and speaking and listening skills.
