Aqua Class have been busy learning the new routines of their classroom and making friends. The children have really enjoyed painting pictures of themselves and drawing their families as the class topic is All About Me. They have also worked hard to learn the oral retelling of The Little Red Hen and they painted some smashing hen pictures too!
The Year 1 children thoroughly enjoyed drawing the story map of the story to help them remember the story. They all concentrated very well and persevered.
This week, the children are changing the story by choosing a different main character, they are now learning the story of The Little Pink Pig! 
Some of the children have made stick puppets to help them retell their own versions of the story, while others have acted out their stories using the animal toys.
