Azure Class were very busy the week before Easter! They planted sunflower seeds, visited Reverend Coral at Experience Easter at Holy Trinity Church and spent two days learning more about the Jewish way of life. The children learned about Shabbat, the Jewish day of rest and they thought about their family time and the things they enjoyed doing with their families. They learnt about what happens at the Shabbat meal on a Friday evening and the things that can and cannot be done on Shabbat! As well as all of that, the children continued to enjoy telling the time and calculating values of money in maths and writing at greater length in English! They loved making their Easter cards too of course! What a busy week! They all deserved a good holiday after that!
