This week we learned about humanism in RE.  We thought about the rules for living that a humanist might use, just like Christians follow the ten commandments.  After comparing Christian and humanist rules for life, we thought of the rules that we each thought would help us to lead happy, successful lives.  Attached are Daisy and Finley’s posters.
We finished our science unit about light by writing up our experiments.  We also took our last class portrait.   using Mr pizzi’s ‘binhole camera’ (it’s made out of a bin!).  We thought about the different variables involved: aperture size, distance from object and brightness of the light source.  See the final picture – the negative and the photograph.  We had to stay still for a minute to expose the photographic paper for long enough!
