Cyan class have been outside enjoying the autumn sun and all of the beautiful fallen leaves. We have been writing riddles in English inspired by Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx.

Here are some examples of our work.
A
I am a queen of colours
I blow the wind and make rain
I share my golden treasure on the ground
Sometimes I send cold days and sometimes I send warm days
Who am I?
B
I can walk on land but I prefer to fly
My eyes are as black a night
My feathers are white as snow
If I nip you, you will have a fright
Who am I?
C
As I strike through the night
My arrows spin when the wind chooses to fight
My colours glint through the air
As I stand tall and fair
What am I?
D
I’m as strong as leather
But as weak as a feather
I can be broken easily
But not so easily fixed
What am I?
Answers
A – Autumn
B – A swan
C – The church
D – Friendship
In maths we have been learning the 3 and 4 times tables.
We have also been listening to David Attenborough and learning about ways that we  can help to save the planet. Using water colours and oil pastels, we created  some posters.
