Azure’s Autumnal Activities
Azure Class have been learning about Andy Goldsworthy, the British sculptor. They have watched videos of him discussing his work and they have enjoyed looking at a number of photos of his work. This week we went out onto the field and created our own sculptures using the natural materials we could find. The children had lots of fun collecting the materials and then they worked individually, in pairs or small groups to create their masterpieces. It was a lovely sunny autumn afternoon and we enjoyed the fresh air.
In our outdoor PE lessons, Azure Class have been working hard to control a ball by bouncing it with their hand. They are beginning to control the ball more confidently now!
