Royal Class have had a jam-packed first week back after half term!

We were introduced to the graffiti artist Banksy. We know that he was kicked out of school and that he has done lots of graffiti in Bristol but his identity is a secret! Some of us have gone home to be detectives and have tried to find out who he could be! We are looking forward to learning about stencil art this term and creating our own Banksy inspired piece of artwork.

This week, we created our very own ecosystems in a bottle. We had to listen carefully to the instructions and use plastic bottles, seeds, soil and water to make them. We are growing, basil, parsley, coriander and cress. We can’t wait to see how they grow!

In English we have started looking at the book ‘The Promise’. We wrote our own poems this week based on the pictures of the city at the start of the book. We then published our work, creating the silhouette of a city and writing our words around the buildings.

We hope that you enjoy looking at the pictures of our ecosystems and published poems.
