Azure Historians

Azure Class have been looking at historical evidence to find out about The Great Exhibition of 1851. They listened to recordings of quotes from people of the time, including ones from Queen Victoria and Charlotte Bronte and they looked at pictures and read quotes. They were asked to focus on five questions and from the evidence in front of them they had to find out the answers. The children enjoyed the afternoons and they have been telling their parents about the Victorian way of life. Additionally they used a website to visit the exhibition virtually and again they have been really good at discovering all of the facts and figures.
