We can’t believe we are at our final term in Royal class and we are really looking forward to everything that is coming up! In history we’ve been learning about the Romans and we’ve made roman shields. Each class made five, so we have 15 in total!
In English when we are learning about Libba cotton . she loves music! we are making a diary entry of Libba cotton before and after she met Ruth Seeger . Libba has had to stay home and help her mum and dad because of slavery and not earning enough money. The black people had to work on farms, and they must pay for tools and they end up in a debt. they are from Africa and they’re in America because of slavery.
Computing
In computing we have been making videos and songs using digital music and Padlet including Songs inspired by Libba cotton we have really enjoyed learning about it. you could comment and like all the other people songs and videos and speeches on Padlet as long as you were kind and considerate.
Science
This term in science we have been learning about bodies, muscles, and bones and how they work. it was so fun. it makes us feel like we’re real scientists!
We’ve also learnt that the taller the person the bigger their lung capacity is!
The smaller the person, the smaller their lung capacity .
Roman trip
We went to Carleon in Wales to see where the Romans settled ad built a fortress. we got to try some armour on .we went in the Romans rooms too. we got to march like the Romans we held wooden swords and shields.
Music
In music we have been singing blackbird and yellow submarine and other Beatles songs it was fun! we’ve been doing a small dance as well as singing.
Maths
In maths we have been doing decimals which is a number less than one also we have been adding and subtracting numbers less than one.
