It’s been a lot of fun in Royal class the last few weeks and we can’t wait to tell you all about it!
In English we have been focusing on one plastic bag. The whole class each wrote a persuasive speech about Isatou Ceesay and how she made an impact.
In DT we have been sewing fabric together to make an eco friendly book buddle bag. We have been using a needle,some thread and fabric. It’s quite satisfying and chill
but hard. We have learned running stitch and back stitch.
Maths is really fun! We have learned measures such as capacity and mass. In some cases it’s hard to figure out the answer. In other cases, it’s actually quite easy. This subject is a very interesting one.
Science is really really fun. We are learning about solids, liquids and gases.
Solids have bonded cells. Liquids have flexibly bonded cells. Gases have free moving cells.
On sports day we did lots and lots of different activities like; hurdles, sprints, long distance and relay races. It was really fun! Various scores were given out.
In music we have been singing ‘Bringing us together’. It is a disco song. That is a kind of music. It is quite upbeat. It’s very satisfying to sing. When they were making this song, the Beatles were in style. It is a really exciting song by Joanna Morgan. it’s really funky!
In geography, we’ve been learning about plastic pollution. We’ve been learning about the five gyres. There’s the; North Pacific G, the South Pacific G, the Indian Ocean G, the south Atlantic and the North Atlantic G.
