On Friday 29th January 2021, Read for Good are launching READ Gloucestershire!  To mark this momentous day, they have arranged a selection of events for all families whether at school or home learning.


From 10-11am

The hilarious Sam Copeland’s new book Uma and the Answer to Absolutely Everything is perfect for 7-11 year olds.


Registration is aimed at schools but suitable for families and home learners, just fill in your school as the organisation and ‘Parent’ or ‘Student’ as Job Title.

From 10am 

Watch Julia Donaldson read Hospital Dog and draw along with Hospital Dog’s Illustrator Sara Ogilvie!

Suitable for all pupils.

When you take part in READ Gloucestershire! Read for Good will donate books to children at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.


From 1pm 

Join Tweedy as he brings Nell Gifford’s, Nell and the Circus of Dreams to life with the help of Keef, Barrie, Pantscase and more!

Suitable for all pupils.
