Sapphire class’ assembly

On  Children in Need Day,  Sapphire Class did their assembly. It was about Egypt and Tutankhamen.  Morgan was Tutankhamen, Zac was Lord Canarvan and Arthur was Howard Carter. The children split into three groups used a rhyming script specially written by Miss Tonner.  Isla in Year 6 said, I think it was very good and exciting.’ At the end there was a quote that said, ‘To speak the name of the dead is to make them live once again.’ They even had their own golden coffin which Tutankhamen (or Morgan) lay in for the rest of the assembly–                                             by Mimi
