AZTEC COOKING
On Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st November, Year 5/6 cooked Aztec themed food [one day per class] consisting of Aztec salsa, tortilla and guacamole. First the children were put into groups of four, these groups would be the ones they would work with, and then they were shown a demonstration of how to make the things. After that they were sent off with one of the parents who came in and got on with it. ‘It was a very nice experience as everyone had an equal chance to do everything: my favourite part of the day was when we got to try our work.’ said Isla [a year six pupil]… by Isobelle
