Dear Parents /Carers
As you will hopefully already know, the Minchinhampton Country Fayre is on the 14th September.
Traditionally the children are invited to take part in a procession to mark the beginning of the Fayre.
The theme for this year’s procession is somewhere between ‘The Pied Piper’ and ‘Save the planet by using up less plastic.’ As such the children have been asked either to dress as they would do on any normal Saturday or come ‘decorated’ with some kind of plastic trimming/ costume (which could or could not have a rat theme).
I have made the additional suggestion to our children that they could also/or come bearing ‘save the environment’ banners and placards given their understandable present level of commitment towards all things environmental. This could also give the procession itself a little more punch.
