Cover Teacher
The governing body is looking to recruit a teacher to cover Year 5/6 classes. This post is offered on a fixed term basis until August 2026, with the possibility of the contract being extended after this term. Candidates need to be passionate about teaching and learning with an uncompromising, relentless commitment to getting the best out of all the pupils.
This is a part-time post of 2 x 0.2 FTE (one day a week) teachers or 0.4 FTE ( two days a week) teacher. The starting salary will be discussed with candidate, main scale depending on skill set.

Teaching Assistant
The governing body is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant. This post is offered on a fixed term basis until August 2026, with the possibility of the contract being extended after this term. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant.
We are particularly interested in hearing from a candidate trained in ELSA who may be interested in interested in delivering ELSA interventions throughout KS2 one/two afternoons a week. You will receive appropriate planning time and supervision with GCC Education Psychology team.
The usual working days and times are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. The post included 30 minutes of lunchtime provision daily, supporting children through planned adult scaffolded play.
