The eels have been released!
This afternoon we took a lovely walk down through the fields to Well Hill Lake where we released our eels. We had around 100 eels each to release into the lake. Some of them were big and fat and all of them were wriggly. Some of us were very brave and held the eels in our hands as they were poured into the water. Ceri (the eel lady) said that they can last for 15 years so if we all come back in 15 years time we may still see one or two of our eels in the lake.
A big thank you for all of the mums and dads that came to help and a special thank you to Ceri and the Severn and Wye Smokery for lending us the eels.

World Cup Final – Reception
The final between Wales and Scotland has now been played.
The match took place during lunch time and the referee was Kieran Forbes from Forest Green Rovers.  It was a nail biting match.  Both goalies played particularly well but in the end it was the right foot of Fergus that won the match for Scotland.
Final score
Scotland  2  –  1  Wales
It has been a truly amazing football tournament and we have all been every impressed with the talent and commitment of the players. Well done to everyone that took part.

Football Frenzy
On Monday we had a day of football frenzy.  The day started with some football training with some real football coaches from Forest Green Rovers. We learnt some skills and had a short  game.
