Inspired by Hoctopize, a main character in our Toys in Space story, the children drew their own space creature and used interesting words to describe what they had drawn.
The film only has some of our pictures, more to follow by the end of this week. We hope you enjoy them!
Toys in Space
Our story this term is Toys in Space by Mini Grey. We have been learning to retell a shortened version of the story which is coming along nicely. We have also enjoyed looking at the book in lots of detail and talking about our ideas, likes, dislikes and thoughts about different pages of the book. Stay tuned for some of our alien work that has been sparked off by the book…
Term 5
Time is zooming on and we are now into term 5 already. Last week we wrote about our holidays and here are some of our writing. I hope you agree with Mrs Saeed that our writing is progressing wonderfully!
Term 5 – Here, There and Everywhere!
Our topic for term 5 is Here, There and Everywhere, moving on to the World Cup in term 6. This term we will be looking at where we live, finding out more about England and will then go on to compare England with a different but not too dissimilar country namely Holland. Â We will also been spending a little time in Space and traveling back in time, to take a look at toys in the past. Such a busy term!
Sports Relief
On Friday, as well as our super class assembly, it was Sports Relief day and we all took part in a sponsored run around the field. Mrs Saeed was amazed at how fast some of us ran, and every one of us ran all the way round without stopping. Well done everyone! We raised lots of money for Sports Relief. Thank you for all of your generous donations.

Class Assembly -2
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our class assembly on Friday. All of the children made Mrs Saeed and Mrs Nicholls very proud. We all hope you enjoyed our singing, dancing and storytelling.
Class assembly
Aqua class is beginning to prepare for our class assembly which is fast approaching, this Friday at 9am in the school hall. Family and friends are most welcome. We are all getting quite excited!
