Today we started Letters and Sounds and began with the letter S. We found lots of things with the s phoneme in and Ned decided that Mr Moss had two s sounds “one in the middle m-i-s-ter and one at the end m-o-s.” We painted snakes and searched for the letter s around the school.
We also began our story retell which is The Little Red Hen. We will be retelling this story each day using actions. This is part of our Talk for Writing commitment. To find out more please click the link below.
Sam was really pleased to start with “S” yesterday. He’s looking forward to “a” today – do you think he’s going to be disappointed it’s not “m” tomorrow?!? 🙂
