This morning we received a letter from the Little Red Hen asking us to help her to bake some bread. She said that she was very tired from planting, watering, cutting, carrying and grinding the corn and none of her friends on the farm would help her. So we spent the morning mixing, squeezing and kneading the dough and Mrs Nicholls baked the bread over lunchtime.

The classroom smelt of freshly basked bread all afternoon and we hope the Little Red Hen and the children enjoyed their bread at home. There was even enough bread to share with all of the teachers too. Big thank you Mrs Nicholls for helping the children to bake the bread.
