
To celebrate Eid in class we made Eid plaques, hand henna (mehndi) designs and designed our own prayer mats. In the afternoon we made orange, lemon, strawberry and mint flavoured sweets. They were very yummy and we shared them with Midnight class. We all tasted some rice with chicken that Mrs Saeed brought back from the Eid celebrations with her family. Most of us loved the rice and wanted seconds.
Sounds like Aqua class had an exciting, productive day! I would have loved to have tried some of those sweets, maybe you could tell me how you made them?
They are very easy to make.
You will need –
220g icing sugar
5 tablespoons of condensed milk
a few drops of food colouring
a few drops of food flavouring
Add all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix until it makes a stiff dough. Roll out and cut into shapes with a cutter or roll into small balls. Pop into your mouth and enjoy!
