Aqua Class is bursting with fruits and vegetables this term as\u00c2\u00a0we become immersed into our growing topic and what better way to start us off than\u00c2\u00a0making and\u00c2\u00a0tasting\u00c2\u00a0slippery\u00c2\u00a0slurpy soup. We had a great time on Monday\u00c2\u00a0peeling, chopping and grating our vegetables. Mrs Saeed cooked the soup over lunch time and then we all had a cup full in the afternoon. Some of us weren’t too impressed but most of us thought it was splendidly delicious.<\/p>\n
Here is the poem we created during the day<\/p>\n
Wash them<\/p>\n
Dry them<\/p>\n
Aprons on<\/p>\n
Let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s get cooking, it won\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t take long<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Carrots<\/p>\n
Potatoes<\/p>\n
Turnips white<\/p>\n
Scrub them clean with all your might<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Grate them<\/p>\n
Peel them<\/p>\n
Chop them up<\/p>\n
Throw them in the big red pot<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Stir it<\/p>\n
Mix it<\/p>\n
Heat it up<\/p>\n
Bubbling steaming boiling hot<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Simmering<\/p>\n
Cooling<\/p>\n
Ready to eat<\/p>\n
