<\/a><\/p>\nCags, life aids and helmets on and with paddles in hand we were off to build.\u00c2\u00a0 It took a while\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.I must say.\u00c2\u00a0 Shorts and a running vest weren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t the warmest.\u00c2\u00a0 Team work and great encouragement was needed.\u00c2\u00a0 They all played a part in creating what I can honestly say were some of the finest rafts I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve ever seen (my attempts at sabotage whilst on the water were futile).<\/p>\n
Once on the water the fun began.\u00c2\u00a0 Splashing galore! With gust of wind reaching upwards of 25 mph trying to get anywhere on the lake was difficult\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6.so we reverted to walking IN water.\u00c2\u00a0 My, oh my, that was a shock to the system!<\/p>\n Piracy, heroism and destruction ensued!\u00c2\u00a0 It was genuinely one of the most enjoyable rafting session I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve had and fitting that it should be my last!\u00c2\u00a0 The children were adamant I get wet and so a certain Mr Morriarty was to blame for a head first entry to the water. \u00c2\u00a0(in fact it was seconds after that final picture was taken….you can even see him moving forward to shove!)<\/p>\n Children hung on for dear life and others chose to stay dry.\u00c2\u00a0 We all thoroughly enjoyed it and were quick to get showered and changed.\u00c2\u00a0 If only to get warm!<\/p>\n A full roast followed and we were ready for the D.I.S.C.O!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Wow!
