With so many children now learning from home,\u00a0we\u2019re (temporarily) making all 100 Spot and Stripe short videos freely available on our Youtube Channel.<\/a><\/p>\n

With each video clocking in at around one-minute, Spot\u00a0and\u00a0Stripe provoke instant\u00a0thinking in\u00a0children. But is it ever possible to<\/em> stop thinking?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lock horns during the lockdown<\/strong>
\nThese 100 \u2018shorts\u2019 are divided into 3 playlists: Age 4-7, 8-11, and 11-16. They\u00a0provides\u00a0a perfect introduction to philosophy for younger\u00a0and\u00a0older children alike, modelling discussion\u00a0and\u00a0argument through colourful, fun characters\u00a0and\u00a0irresistible questions.<\/p>\n

Use at home<\/b>
\nTo use with children at home, simply press play. Afterwards, ask them for their opinion. Do they agree with Spot or Stripe and why? Do they have another angle on the question? Fun conversation can be enjoyed as a family, or with two more siblings talking together. It can be fun for parents\u00a0to take the opposite point of view for the sake of argument.<\/p>\n

Still in school?<\/b>
\nIf you\u2019re in school,\u00a0get students to stand on the side of the character they agree with, and continue the argument with someone from the other side. For deeper challenge, ask all children to stand on\u00a0Spot\u2019s side\u00a0and\u00a0come up with as many reasons as they can,\u00a0and\u00a0then do\u00a0the same for\u00a0Stripe. Having heard both sides, they can then decide on and defend\u00a0their own opinion.<\/p>\n
