Some of the writing coming out of Year 5 and 6 has been excellent recently. The drama and intrigue of Macbeth seems to have inspired them.<\/p>\n
Macbeth<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Paragraph 2<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n At that same moment, a wounded warrior dragged himself through the huge oak doors of Inverness Castle. As he struggled forwards, trying to ignore the agonising pain that overwhelmed him, he gasped for breath and tried to deliver his message. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Victory, my lord,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he spluttered, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Thanks to your general, Macbeth.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d King Duncan paused, leaned forward and ordered, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153We will reward Macbeth\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s bravery and honour him with the title \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcThane of Cawdoor;\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 I will visit Dunsinane personally.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The king shot a nervous glance at the warrior and chewed his fingernails as the warrior\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s face turned white as snow (the colour seemed to be draining out of him.)
