A Tree<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Behold! A help I am!<\/p>\n

Held here in a secure globe,<\/p>\n

With help from me an adult you are to be,<\/p>\n

I breathe you and you breathe me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I hear happiness and sadness,<\/p>\n

I know everyone, the hikers and the happy picnickers,<\/p>\n

I stretch over to shelter them,<\/p>\n

No one says thank you<\/p>\n

But I hear laughter,<\/p>\n

And that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s enough for me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I see people viciously taking my friends like packs of dogs.<\/p>\n

Roars from chainsaws and then they fall<\/p>\n

I know that they will take me some day.<\/p>\n

We shout at the wind to take the humans away.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I feel very wet but very dry,<\/p>\n

I know I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not dry but my breath is wet.<\/p>\n

We huddle together to catch the heat.<\/p>\n

I feel warm-hearted towards the rodents inside me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I know others need my oxygen<\/p>\n

but I am old and frail<\/p>\n

So now I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m going to die<\/p>\n

I rest and sleep<\/p>\n

But I might come back<\/p>\n

As my dear child<\/p>\n
