{"id":151,"date":"2017-06-14T21:52:37","date_gmt":"2017-06-14T20:52:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.minchacademy.net\/book\/?p=151"},"modified":"2022-01-20T09:18:17","modified_gmt":"2022-01-20T09:18:17","slug":"151","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.minchacademy.net\/book\/2017\/06\/14\/151\/","title":{"rendered":"Brilliant Book Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Last Saturday was a big day for us at Minchinhampton Academy.\u00a0 It was the launch of our school book A Portal Through Time and wasn&#8217;t it a day to remember.\u00a0 The village became an art gallery, displaying art for every child in the school, the streets were taken over by stalls and games, with a BBQ and bar under the market house. We were all entertained by country dancing and singing as we eagerly awaited the big launch time of 3pm.<\/p>\n<p>John Dougherty, our patron of reading arrived in style, clutching the first box of books followed by a pig on a motorbike!<\/p>\n\n<p>A fantastic afternoon was had by all.
