On Saturday 18th March children in Year 3 and 4 were invited to a project organised by a group from the University of Gloucestershire (including Miss Dimon). The aim of the project was to improve the wildlife area on the school field.  Children came along with their parents and grandparents and improved the area by planting flowers, building bug hotels, making hedgehog homes, bird feeders and a compost bin! We hope for the project to be continued throughout the school year with children having the opportunity to use it within their school time. We also hope to have further events at the weekend for children and their families to work outside within the wildlife area. If this is something that you find interesting please contact Miss Dimon. Here are some pictures of what we got up to on the day.
